Keukenhof - The Tulip Gardens of Natherand

Keukenhof  , also known as the  Garden of Europe,  is one of the world's largest flower gardens. It is situated in  Lisse , the  Netherlands . According to the official website for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 32 hectares (79 acres). Keukenhof is located in  South Holland  in the small town of Lisse, south of  Haarlem  and southwest of  Amsterdam . It is accessible by bus from the train stations of Haarlem,  Leiden  and  Schiphol . It is located in an area called the "Dune and Bulb Region". Keukenhof is open annually from mid-March to mid-May. The best time to view the  tulips  is around mid-April, depending on the weather.                           The type of Tulip is named after the Aishwarya Rai by Amsterdam. Zaanse Schans in Natherland

                 Zaanse Schans   is a neighbourhood of  Zaandam , near  Zaandijk  in the  Netherlands . It has a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses. From 1961 to 1974 old buildings from all over the Zaanstreek were relocated using  lowboy trailers  to the area.  The  Zaans Museum , established in 1994, is located in the Zaanse Schans. The Zaanse Schans is one of the popular  tourist attractions  of the Netherlands and an anchor point of ERIH, the  European Route of Industrial Heritage . The neighbourhood attracted approximately 1.6 million visitors in 2014. The  Zaans Museum  locates next to the Zaanse Schans.
